  TUKLAS CAVITE- MUNICIPALITY OF KAWIT                                                          KAWIT                           (Cavite el viejo) HISTORY Kawit, officially the Municipality of Kawit (Tagalog: Bayan ng Kawit), is a first-class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines.  It is one of the notable places that had a major role in the country's history during the 1800s and 1900s. Formerly known as Cavite el Viejo, it is the location of his home, and the name Kawit is from the word kalawit, the Aguinaldo Shrine, where independence from Spain was declared on June 12, 1898. TUKLAS CAVITE- MUNICIPALITY OF NOVELETA                                                                 NOVELETA      HISTORY                   Noveleta, a former barrio of Cavite el Viejo (Kawit), became an independent municipality on January 5,1868 presumably during the Spanish Governor General Jose de la Gandara y Navarro (1866- 1869). Another source says Noveleta was founded one year earlier, in 1867. The name Noveleta is said to have originated from Nueva Isla or New Island, a tern frequently used by the spaniards, referring to the locality. In the early years of the Spanish regime visiting priests described the place as Nueva Late (New fate or Fortune). In the course of time these terms Nueva Isla and Nueva Lete involved of Noveleta. CULTURE Everyone was filled with vibrance and joy as residents of Noveleta celebrated the 112th Feast of the Holy Cross and the 62nd year of Nuestra Senora Dela Paz Y Buen Viaje-Reina de Noveleta from May 2 to 4, 2017.
